The main focus of this article was that the United States elected a black president. Not what the president stood for but it discussed how far the black person has come. It discusses the fact that black people started in slavery and that they had to go through segregation and now one is running the country. It seems like the interviews that were chosen made the voter sound like they voted for Obama because he was black. It also states that Joseph P. Riley Jr., the white mayor of Charleston, South Carolina, said, "that people freely have the capacity to progress." It worries me that, at least these people, are so happy he is black. Personally I couldn't care if he was orange, what counts is that he does a good job as president and does what is best for the nation. If he does that then I will celebrate.Source: Shanghai Daily
