The issue that this author sees as the number one issue is the U.S. economy. It is mentioned how alot of the U.S. voters viewed McCain as following George W. Bush in his economic Polcies. this dilema seemed to assist in Obama's campaign. The article also mentions new voter turnout in this election. It states that 1 in 10 voters said that this was their first time voting, and 7 out of 10 of these new voters were for Obama.
