In the Shanghai Daily article, McCain concedes election, promises to help Obama, the newspaper seems to remain rather objective with its comments but still manages to convey its message that they are democratic but respectful of the republican party and McCain. It primarily discusses McCain's speech conceding the election to Senator Obama. The article praises McCain's choice of words stating that now the two parties must unite to tackle the serious problems of this country. It finishes by stating McCain's acknowledgments to his staff and family. There was no arguing or bias in this article it was an object account about his speech and of the people present at said speech.
