Obama Speaks with Leaders from Other Countries

I has not even been a week since his victory in the Presidential election and President Elect Barack Obama had already taken steps to prepare himself for his presidency. According to South China Morning Posts article "Obama reaches out to world leaders", Obama has already began to make contact with leaders from 9 other countries. In this article it is discussed that Obama spoke with French president Nicolas Sarkozy's for 30 minutes and described the conversation as "extremely warm" and the president congratulated Senator Obama on a "brilliant" election victory. This article described all the conversations with the various leaders as being very positive, once again showing the Chinese view that Barack Obama as being the right person for the job.

With China viewing Obama as the right person, it makes the USA look positive and other nations may see the USA as positive again too.
