Obama Takes the Lead

In an article titled "U.S. presidential race tightens as candidates focus on key states", published in China People's Daily, it is very clear that the Chinese media views Barack Obama as being the next president of the United States. This article discusses the American polls in the presidential race. the polls that are mentioned in this article show Obama leading by various points. an example mentioned is the CNN poll which states that Obama is leading McCain by 51 to 47 percent. Although this is the correct number of points that CNN is posting for Obama lead, it is not the same numbers given by all media in the United States. Other polls are showing much closer numbers than CNN. It is obvious that china already has Obama taking the presidential seat.
