Promising Change
In the article "Obama, McCain both promise change on election eve" in the China Daily, it is extremely clear that China is favoring Barack Obama as the next president of the United States. They pointed out many times how far ahead the Senator Obama was in the polls and how much ground Senator McCain needed to make up in order to win the election, at one point they even referred to him as desperate. The China Daily described the last rounds of each Presidential candidate and their running mates. What states they were going to and how they were trying to sway each state. The main state the candidates were at, however was Florida, where once again China's obvious democractic view came out pointing out that Obama had 8,000 more participants at his rally than McCain did. By reading the article it is that China is in favor of Barack Obama becoming the next President of the United States.
