The “Bush Effect”

Looking at today’s headlines in China, the newest concept that has been brought up is that the polls show that President McCain is being hurt by what is known as the “Bush Effect,” according to People’s Daily online. The article explains the McCain is going to be like voting President Bush back into office again. It states that McCain is trying to distant himself from him but can’t. The article also states that right now at this time, McCain is trailing Obama 52-44. Overall, this article shows the negative and in my opinion influences the read to go along with the opinion that McCain is going to be another President Bush. The main observation from this article was the idea that the words “Bush Effect “ has not yet been used in the US to my knowledge.
