When looking at another media outlet in China, I found the China Daily. One of the lead stories on the China Daily was a article addressing Presidential Candidate, Barack Obama, using his resources to produce a 30 minute last made effort to win other the national publics eyes. The article, “Obama floods airways with TV appeal” was written by Bernice Chan, a foreign expect for the China Daily website.
After reading this article, one can tell that Chan is trying to look at it was both points of views, but the article is highly focused on Obama and the way that the votes are going at this time. Chan’s choice of words in representing McCain shows that the opinion of the China Daily supports Obama. Another point that shows that they want the democratic to win is the mentioning of other democratic members such as H. Clinton in the article.
